Private Tuition (ages 11+)

Serious academic support for A-Level and International Baccalaureate students combined with intellectually ambitious enrichment.

I offer private tuition to students at leading international and independent schools, from secondary level through university preparation.

My teaching can be tailored to the requirement of a particular A-Level or IB syllabus, while also taking students beyond the immediate demands of the curriculum. I help my students develop the skills these programmes value: critical thinking, analysis, interpretation, evaluation, independent research, and clear, persuasive communication.

The emphasis is on understanding as well as performance: learning how to use evidence, question assumptions, evaluate competing interpretations, and arrive at independent, well-supported judgment.
